# Ellipse brand guidelines

Logo downloads, colours, typeface and the rules for how Ellipse looks on the web, in presentations, on social media and in print. For our team, partners and the media.

## Key terms

Using the same names everywhere helps people and search engines understand what the product is and who provides it.

Ellipse

The name of the software platform. In text always with a capital E: “Ellipse”, not “ELLIPSE” or “Elipse”. Lower case belongs only to the logo.

Ellipse Cloud

The cloud platform as a whole, for example in a banner subheading or the site name.

HORECA GROUP s.r.o.

The company that develops and provides Ellipse. Used in contracts, invoices and legal details.

Moduly

Named parts of the platform, for example Ellipse PMS, Ellipse POS, Ellipse Pay or Ellipse Team. Write the module name as it appears on its page.

Ella

The Ellipse AI assistant. Written as a first name, without quotation marks and without “AI” in front of the name.

## Logo

The logo is a red symbol and the “ellipse” wordmark. Use it only from the original files. SVG suits the web and print; PNG with a transparent background suits presentations and documents.

White wordmark and red symbol on Ellipse Navy, a dark photo or video.

### Do

- Keep clear space around the logo of at least the height of the “e” in the wordmark.
- Use a width of at least 100 px on screen and 25 mm in print.
- Choose the white version for dark backgrounds and photos, the primary version for light ones.

### Don’t

- Don’t stretch, rotate or change the proportions of the logo.
- Don’t change colours or add shadows, outlines or effects.
- Don’t place the logo on a busy photo without darkening it, and don’t retype it in another font.

## Colours

Ellipse Navy and Ellipse Red from the logo are the foundation. Red is an accent, not a fill: use it for the one element on a surface that should draw attention.

## Montserrat typeface

The Ellipse brand typeface is Montserrat. It is used in banners, presentations, print and social media graphics. It is free under the SIL Open Font License and supports Slovak, Czech, Polish and Hungarian diacritics.

## Brand banner

The template for article covers, social media posts, newsletters and presentation title slides. Build every new banner from the same five elements in the same layout.

1. **Photo from a real operation** A real hotel, restaurant or wellness setting. A Deep Navy gradient from the left and bottom keeps the text readable.
2. **White logo** On the left above the text, with clear space. Banners always use the dark-background version.
3. **Subheading in Ellipse Red** The platform or module name, for example “Ellipse Cloud” or “Ellipse POS”. Montserrat Medium.
4. **Main claim** One idea about the benefit for the operation, two lines at most. White Montserrat Bold or ExtraBold.
5. **Product screen** A real Ellipse screen in a phone or window mock-up on the right. No invented features, anonymised data only.

### Format and layout

- The base size is 1920 × 1260 px. For other channels change only the photo crop; the layout stays.
- Text and logo go in the left half, the product screen in the right.
- Keep a margin of at least 5% of the image width from the edge.

### Copy

- One banner, one idea. The claim has two lines at most.
- Write about the benefit for the guest or the operation, not a list of features.
- Don’t put prices, discounts or figures on a banner unless they are verified on the website.
