Big news, friends—new modules are now available in your Ellipse system. The new Foodie module enables combined online sales of your food, beverages, and any other products for takeout, delivery, and in-person sales in the restaurant or hotel room.
Download the list of active QR codes directly from the admin panel for each hotel room or restaurant table, and mobile waiter and room service are instantly available on every guest’s smartphone. A simple scan, and online ordering can begin.
Online and Offline
The Foodie module is integrated with the restaurant’s point-of-sale system, so both offline and online sales are synchronized in real time, and the number of portions with sales limits is available to both waitstaff at the register and in the online ordering system. A sold-out daily special is automatically deactivated from online sales, and the sale of the last slice of cake is automatically disabled.
Active Upselling
In addition, linked item categories enable easy sales of daily specials, soups, and free sauces, as well as active upselling and suggesting additional items to customers when they add an item to their cart.
Automation and Versatility
Created orders are automatically transferred to the register; order slips are printed at the bar and in the kitchen, allowing orders to be processed even faster. Scanning the QR code from a hotel room automatically and securely authenticates guests, and with a single click by the staff member, the bill at the register is sent to the guest’s hotel account.
