What we hear when we sit down with operators
With passes it is often unclear whether they are transferable, how many people may use them, until when they are valid, and whether one entry counts on every pass-through or only once a day.
If only the desk knows these rules “from practice”, customers get different answers and complaints are handled from memory.
Why fixing a single step is not enough
A pass is a product with its own rules. The system has to know not only the balance, but who used an entry, when and where.
The product rules are defined at sale
A pass can have a number of entries, a validity date, a zone type and transfer rules. The customer should receive these terms clearly already at purchase.
Fitness, wellness or the waterpark can each have different rules.
Every redemption creates a history
At entry the pass is identified by a QR code, an RFID medium or an account, depending on the implementation. The system deducts the entry and stores the time and place of use.
At a complaint the desk then sees a concrete history instead of a guess.
The guest can see the same balance as the desk
If the pass is linked to CRM or an online account, the client can see the remaining entries and the validity.
That reduces the calls of the kind “how many do I have left?”.
Expiry and renewal follow the rules
The system can warn that validity is about to end or offer a new product.
The decision to extend or compensate stays with the property, according to its terms.

COMMON QUESTIONS
What operators ask us
Can a pass be transferable?
Yes or no. The property sets the rule and it has to be communicated clearly.
Can the history of entries be followed?
Yes. Every redemption can have its own time and place.
Can the guest see the balance online?
Yes, when it is linked to CRM or an account.
What happens after expiry?
Further use follows the product rules. Any extension is approved by the property.
HOW WOULD THIS WORK FOR YOU?
Let us set the pass so that the desk is not the only one who knows its rules
On a concrete product we show the sale, identification, redemption, the balance, validity and what the customer sees.
