How does communication work?
When working with the Ellipse system, FiskalPRO devices are used as external devices and respond to commands from the hotel system or the POS environment (mobile waiter). All functions available in the system are supported:
- withdrawals and deposits
- sales
- canceling a receipt
- invoice payment
- invoice payment cancellation
- settlement of a received advance payment
- cancellation of a settled advance payment
- Settlement document with advance payment deduction
- Settlement of a single-purpose voucher
- Settlement of a multi-purpose voucher
Communication Speed
Direct cloud-to-cloud communication ensures a fast connection to the device, and document printing takes only a few seconds. Processed return codes are also logged in the Ellipse system, so you always have access to feedback on document printing directly within the Ellipse system. All documents are also available online in the FiskalPro cloud.
Utilizing Existing Devices
If you’re already using FiskaPRO devices at your location, you can continue to use them, and we’ll connect the FiskalPro terminals to individual cash registers in the Ellipse system.
Mobile Waiter – Android App
Our Ellipse POS Android app is currently undergoing the approval process. Once approved, it will be available for installation on your FiskalPRO device and will offer the full functionality of a mobile waiter app, just as you’re already accustomed to seeing on mobile devices today.
